i remember many years back Warren took his TT on the TMS banking at speed and blew his engine, secondary to oil starvation from the g load on the banking combined with high revs. i think John Y had a similar problem at the autox, high cornering forces with high revs. seems like the VG30 has a big hole and is far from bulletproof...makes me want to think twice about road racing again... what were those IMSA 300ZX's running in there engines? dry sump as well? were they even VG30DEs?
